Use your free cells wisely
Build alternating-color sequences downward in the tableau, and build each foundation upward from ace to king by suit. Free cells temporarily hold one card each.
A useful starting point
Keep free cells open when possible: they increase your ability to rearrange cards. The final rules will explain sequence movement and empty-column behavior.
