How to play Glintball
Everyone has their own 5×5 pit. Select a hole with your mouse, finger, or keyboard. Hold the power button and release near its gold center to queue a toss. On Lil Lou’s next “Toss!”, all queued balls fly together. Your aim gets you close; a little carnival bounce chooses the landing.
A filled hole cannot take another ball: it rattles onward through neighboring holes until it finds a vacancy. All balls stay on the board. Form five across, down, or diagonally and press GOT IT! A false claim gives you a short, 3½-second cooldown.
Five rounds of fairground fun
One winner earns 15 stars. If players first complete a line on the same toss as the claimant, they each receive one bonus token instead of the round prize—even if their claim arrives a moment later. Spend a token before a later toss to steady its aim and power. Tokens carry between rounds and rematches at the same friend table. Solo tokens are saved on this device.
Rounds usually last about a minute. The host chooses Relaxed, Normal, or Fast and Easy, Normal, or Hard computer players. A missed toss waits for the next call; it is never submitted for you. After 25 tosses, an eight-second final claim period closes an unclaimed round without a prize. Nothing skips past the round recap until the host continues.
A tiny extra star
Occasionally Teddy borrows a glowing ball for his toy box. Tap him while his catch prompt is showing—about two seconds—to earn one star. Each player can catch him once per appearance. No purchases, coins, or real prizes are involved. Stars are saved locally; friend-table outcomes are decided by the server.
Comfortable controls
Keyboard: Tab to any hole and press Enter to aim. Hold Space or Enter on the power button, then release. Or choose a fixed power in Settings for a tap-to-toss control. Sound starts off. Reduced motion and flat mode replace flying balls with gentle fades. Tap during a flight to hurry its animation.
