About this game
How to play Texas Hold’em
Each player receives two private cards. Five shared cards arrive as the flop (three), turn (one) and river (one). Make your best five-card poker hand from any combination of your two cards and the board. You can also win when everyone else folds.
Before the cards
Open a 2–6 seat table. Share its private link if you want friends to join; empty seats become computer players when the room creator starts. Everyone chooses Ready in the lobby first. A match commits 5,000 coins from each player’s server wallet to their table stack. The buy-in is charged once, only after every player can afford it. There is no rebuy during a match.
The dealer button moves clockwise each hand. The next two players post small and big blinds of 25 and 50. With two players, the dealer posts the small blind, acts first before the flop and last afterwards. Blinds stay fixed for this five-hand match.
Your choices
Check when nothing is owed, Call to match the current bet, Fold to give up the hand, or Raise to increase the total. “Raise to total” includes chips already placed in this betting round; the allowed range appears beside it. All-in commits your remaining stack. A full raise must be at least the previous full raise size. A short all-in does not reopen raising for a player who has already acted, unless cumulative increases reach the required full raise.
Showdown and side pots
Hand order is royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, pair and high card. Equal categories compare the relevant ranks and kickers; suits never break a tie. An Ace can be high or low in a straight.
An all-in player can win only the pot covered by their contribution. Larger contributions form side pots. Uncalled excess is returned. Tied hands share their pot; an odd chip goes to the first tied player clockwise after the dealer. At showdown, only still-competing hands are revealed. Folded opponents’ cards remain private.
Finish, pause and return
After each hand, review the result and choose Next hand. The table continues when everyone present is ready. After five hands—or earlier if only one stack remains—all remaining human chips return to their wallets and the same room returns to its Ready lobby.
Each turn allows 45 seconds. If you disconnect or time runs out, a computer covers your seat. Choose Reclaim my seat to return. Computer cover can also finish the match while you watch. Chips remain committed until the match settles; leaving the page never refunds a losing hand. Reopen this page and use Resume match to find your server-saved room. A room advances when a player requests an update, including after everyone has been away.
Quiet, fair company
Computer decisions use only that player’s cards and public information. The server shuffles and validates every action, protects hidden cards and settles the wallets. The browser cannot choose a card or payout. Private rooms offer only friendly preset reactions, with no open chat. Public Quick Match looks for players for up to 20 seconds, then fills empty seats with computers. Only confirmed adults can join. Block a public player to prevent future seating together. After a match, choose a new Quick Match when you are ready; no automatic repeat buy-in.
Sound starts off. Reduced motion and Flat keep movement gentle or static. Presentation speed changes animations, not the 45-second server turn timer. Tap during an animation to hurry it. All coins are play money: never sold or redeemable. Visit the Boardwalk wallet for gifts. Hold’em wagers do not add machine XP or progressive jackpot contributions.
