How to play Potion Sort

Tap a bottle, then another to pour one layer. The destination must have space and either be empty or have the same color on top. Each bottle holds four layers. Finish with every bottle empty or filled with a single color. Colors also have numbers, so you do not need to distinguish them by hue.

A puzzle with a little personality

From level 3, smoke conceals lower layers until the ones above are poured away. From level 6, one bottle is frozen; make one pour elsewhere to thaw it. Every generated level has a solution, but a legal pour can still lead to a dead end. Undo and restart are always available.

Bramble’s advice

Keep an empty bottle available. Uncover hidden layers gradually, and try to finish one color before mixing up the next.
